چکیده

ESES/XKRS(XML-bases Key-Recovery System), which will be introduced in this paper, is a subsystem of ESES(ETRI Secure E-commerce Service) that has been implemented to support security services such as authentication, integrity, confidentiality and key-recovery. ESES/XKRS is a key-recovery system for B2B electronic commerce and its recovery method is key-escrow. It has been designed and been implemented to be used in enterprise environment. All messages in ESES/XKRS are signed and encrypted with the form of XML using ESES/Signature and ESES/Cipher, respectively. One of the characteristics of this key-recovery system is that one enterprise can recover documents from external key-recovery system in other enterprise and also from owns. Key-Words: Key-Recovery System, XML Encryption and XML Digital Signature

The Significance of XML

Although the overall investment in information technology (IT) decreased during the first few years of the 21st century, B2B e-commerce continued to expand at a rapid rate (Lim & Wen, 2002). The expansion of B2B e-commerce has been based to a large extent on accounting and enterprise-wide information systems (EISs) that permit electronic data transmission and execution of transactions in an eff...

COSIMA – Sales Automation for E-Procurement

E-procurement is one of the fastest growing application areas for e-commerce. Though B2B transaction costs could be reduced recently by establishing XML based standards for electronic product catalogs and data interchange, B2B sales costs are still high due to the amount of human interaction. For the first time we present a fully automated electronic sales agent for e-procurement portals. The k...

Does B2B Data Exchange Tap the Full Potential of XML Schema Languages?

B2B data exchange deals often not only with the representation of content in standardized data structures, but also with the transformation of relational data to XML-based data and vice versa. During the transformation process not only the data structures but also the power of the data modeling concepts of the respective document standards must be considered. Based on this knowledge the convers...

Adapting RosettaNet B2B Standard to Semantic Web Technologies

This paper presents a methodology for adapting RosettaNet B2B Standard to Semantic Web technologies. We present an approach for mapping RosettaNet Partner Interface Process (PIP) descriptions defined currently with DTD or XML Schemas format to an ontological representation using an OWL/XML rendering. It has been applied to the full set of PIPs. The transfer is transparent and reaps the benefits...

Facilitating Business Interoperability from the Semantic Web

Most approaches to B2B interoperability are based on language syntax standardisation, usually by XML Schemas. However, due to XML expressivity limitations, they are difficult to put into practice because language semantics are not available for computerised means. Therefore, there are many attempts to use formal semantics for B2B based on ontologies. However, this is a difficult jump as there i...
